    leaky injectors

One of mine was leaking badly and when I checked the banjo bolt was missing. I looked down the erngine bay and found it what luck. You may have a leak because your copper washer is not on the right way or not there at all. The copper washer needs to be next to the bold head and not on the other...

    Better motorway drive

I cant understand why you would want to change the setup you have if your happy with it. You do have to remember it is a defender you have, they tow well,do offroad really well but they are not racing cars or motorway cruisers. I guess you will have to make a compromise somewhere as others have...

    Condensation and mould :-(

I have the LaSalle headling as well but i shoved in some noisekiller on the inside of the roof then shoved some foam matting in too. More than likely the foam will be soaking up the condenstaion and in time it will be all furry in there. The good thing from that I guess is it might make it a tad...

    Def. 110 Vibration at 80-90mph

I have to agree, if you feel the need to do that speed you better buy another vehicle. I'm not surprised you are getting vibration, if I had done that in mine I would have had to walk back and pick up the bits that had came off.

    Stutter Whilst Accelerating.

Funny that this thread has came up as I have just fixed my problem which was something similar but mainly when I was pulling away as it seems sluggish and about to cut out. Also on accelerating it did feel like it was lacking power. It turned out to be a diesel feed to one of my injectors, the...

    Too much electrictricity

My electric gauge to show charge has now seemed to be creeping into the red. It has now sent my split charge display system on my dsash into a frenzy as it is bleeping its head off saying that there is overcharge. I guess my question is can this damage anything and why could I be getting to much...

    carling switches

I have a raptor dash with carling switches for all my extras like spotlights and such and they work fine. As far as soundproofing goes it really depends on what you want to spend. I went for the exmoor trim moulded matting which is around £400 but it does not soak up water which you will get in...
