We did maintenance at the shows last year but it takes a bit of organising. We nominated vehicles and then organised parts, tools, equipement etc. A few folk bringing alone diagnostics kit might be a good idea for code clearing/advice

I like the idea of a climbing wall but it would mean hiring one in with instructors and risk assessments so it would be a pay for a go type thing

How about if you did it on a byopt (bring your own parts and tools) basis? If they don't have the right right tools then a donation to hire them?
charity code read? for every code read say a £5 donation

What about the arty drawing folk among us charge to draw landies for their owners and the money goes in the charity pot?

I wouldn't mind sketching up a few for people if they sent their fav piccies of their landies or even a few animal portraits. I'm only popping in for one day but can do before hand and drop sketches in for owners to pic up

Just a thought

Cracking idea, could you also do them in cartoon form? like small front wheels and mahoosive rears?

Not sure if i can get but what about a raffle for some modds for the various models, like a bullbar spots lift kit sump guards etc im sure you could cover the costs and rest to charity..?

300tdistu has donated a ground anchor, disco light bar and 2x fender rear light bars for this very reason :cool: and we're hoping for more from other sponsors and business donators.

I like the idea of a maintainence tent, people are bound to have little things they need doing, especially those who have little experience of diy, would be good for th

stick a charity box in it and let people pay a nominal donation fee for the fixes.

find out if anyone needs full oil changes, order 200lt drums from morris/smith&allen and stick all profit in the chairty bin.

should be quick and easy and everyone benefits.

haha yes. maybe just stick to one barrel of ep90

:scratching_chin:

ep90 for a fender is 1.7lt for each diff, lt230 is about 2lt, swivels 0.5lt = 6 lt

205lt barrel / 6lt is 34 landies

£478 (barrel price) / 34 landies is about £14 each

6 lts of ep90 bought normally is £30 delivered.

charging £30 with you filling for them, that's £542 profit for the charity.

or decant into bottles charge em 30quid and an extra tenner to change the oils.

filter the dirty ep90 and sell as fuel to fanny :p
