It not only affects us as 4x4 but horses, bikes & walkers. It shows what happens when you stop motorised transport using the lanes tho.
My point exactly. It not only affects us as 4x4 but horses, bikes & walkers.
Wilts council are good for removing blockages but not bush cutting(unless you complain)
I do say I’m using a horse carriages as they deem this to be more a pleasure than adventure
Perfect. I’m just outside Marlborough and shoot between Burbage and Pewsey so might know some of the lanes you mean!I will be going lane hunting the bank holiday weekend unsure what day as I work away all week. These can be very scratchy to the paint work as the lanes have just opened & most are not used. Once I managed a loop I plan these out proper.
im always up for company and show people the sights. Most of the nice views are Swindon/marlbough

Trying to find whet I’m up to that weekend.I am also keen - anyone around on the bank holiday?
Forgot to say the day did not start well. Arranged meeting just outside hungerford so could go lane hunting. When I arrived he got out the disco as all was well.... until
I pointed at the flat tyre & laughed. So
Remove wheel off to hungerford & get a repair within 1.5hrs(piece of glass on entering lay by)
Due to the time used we missed a load of lanes round Kintbury.will save these for another day
Thanks @gstuart
He’s now on the case with the part numbers.
