Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a K&N filter for my dad's p38 for christmas, i'm currently at uni so can't do any measuring of the airbox or anything.

I know its the BMW Diesel, and is an N reg - i think its the 136bhp model, but im not entirely sure since the applications for the 136bhp k&N seems to be from late 1996, and being N reg i think its probably early- so could it be the 113bhp instead? Or were all the airboxes the same?

I've found that the model 33-2119 is for some V8's as well as the 136bhp diesel and the 33-2737 is for the 113bhp.

Any help would be appriciated,

Do you just want a replacement element or a round thingy?

You may as well just buy him a normal filter, the expensive K&N will do dicky squat for the car other than filter air.

I'm not sure which of the two k&n will fit I'd go for the 136bhp one as mine is 136

is yours a 2.5 BMW engined 1995 or pre july '96 p38?
