New heater hoses and more coolant flushing to try and get it clear

Put her up for sale locally just to test the water, some jobs left to do but no rush as wont be getting my hand bitten off at 3750 : )
Still got new drivers seat to fit and some dash wiring oh and tidy the interior. Plus sort out the rattle on the drivers window
 
Towed my new toy 50 miles with it :):)

Yes V6 Essex and auto box cause the other half has only got an auto licence.

Autobox will be better anyway. Less wear on the trans due to smoother power take up, no clutch to wear out. And the slight power loss of the older autos will be no issue, plenty of power from the V6, not much weight on the Scim! :)

Newer autos are even better, I love em. Manual change is Stone Age! ;)

Must say I do like it , handles like a dream and no servo so brakes have feel, proper sports car : )
Needs some work but basics are ok
 
Collecting an R380 box with H/Duty rear bearings from Ashcrofts tomorrow, being fitted Monday next week.

I love em. Proper British Classic! :)

The plastic body doesnt rust, the underlying steel chassis is strong, and the Essex engine is torquey and sounds great. Scim is much lighter than a Granada, and handles much better than a Capri.
