Did the last coat of painting on the cage last night. Going to get the lads round later to give us a lift so it can be welter on and start the electrics. Hopefully I'll have time to weld the internal in and get the support in for the chassis to tree sliders.

Replace both Alpine window seals, wasn't as bad as I expected. Having the correct filler insertion tool is a definite benefit.

fixed my difflock, adjusted the switch mech and adjusted the the gearbox cross pivot.
Now have difflock, difflock switch and light working :)

checked, filled all grease nipples and topped up boxes and axles.

All ready for dorzitt tomoz :)

fitted my bigger bfg and general a/t tyres then lost some of the weights of the inside of the nsf wheel so now it vibrates

from 235/70r16 to 265/75r16 just need to adjust the steering stops now as they catch the radius arm one way but not the other

Ive pressure washed the underside of mine after a play in a local quarry .

what jobs have you done on yours ?

Driven it home from the dealers, immediately set about fettling it-yeah, there were of course a couple of issues- and loved it. Tomorrow I intend to fettle it some more -as in nailing down the rest of the discovered issues-and probably love it even more thereafter.

Job done.

Sorted my turbo - turned out to be a split intercooler hose. I've wrapped it in duct tape and it's done the trick until the new hose arrives.

Got the cage back on the disco and fully welded it on. Made and fitted 2 rear supports from the cage to 6mm plates welded on the chassis. Going to weld in the internal cross tomoz and start painting the new welds.

I've been looking for an oil leak. I had thought it might be the rocker cover gasket, but I've wiped everything clean and can't see any more coming out. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator? Well, it's a bit wet with juice but I've dried off the joints and can't see any more coming out. I wonder whether it just got a bit messed up when it was in the garage recently and they had the fuel pipes off and were testing fuel pressure, had the rocker cover off to get at the injectors, and so on. Maybe it's just residual mess, and when the engine gets hot a bit more drips off. I shall keep an eye on it and see what happens.

got it sorted it's now got the correct front end back her  was easier than expected to sort it out

Tried again and failed to remove my steering wheel, looks like a need to invest in a puller :(

Get violent with it! Leave the nut on half a turn, and start pulling side to side. Don't just try to pull it off smoothly, it won't move. It needs to be shocked off. Bit of plusgas would help...
