Dire economic circumstances forced a change of plan, instead of replacing my very worn out gearbox with one which I was going to buy from a nice bloke on this forum, I'm now forced to reluctantly rebuild the knackered one I bought from ebay last year, i didn't know it were knackered when i bought it, that only became obvious when we drained the oil and out fell half a thrust washer. So we dragged it out of the crate at the bottom of a mates garden (where its been for best part of a year) and set about it. I don't want to do this but being broke providing the motivation, with a step by step guide found on the forum providing the know how.

So far so good, i read that this collar can be a tad tight.

Tight indeed, it wrecked my mates expensive puller

Some heat and eventually it came off, this is where were at now, i need to order a few replacement bits and a gasket set so its as is until then.

I started to give mine a good clean, did one side then remembered the last time I cleaned it something went wrong , so I stopped.
Put some boards on the full length roof rack.

Little bit of welding on the trials 80 inch some grinding and making a bracket for the edis 8 pickup assy and trigger wheel.

All back together pretty sure it's in the correct place. Will find out when it's all welded up and running or not!

Fitted the Invertor and me ham radio and wired em both up. Need a 6pin RJ45 plug for the end of the faceoff cable for the radio. I have several 6pin plugs but they're the larger RJ11?? CAT E connectors. I need the smaller square plug.

Fitted the 2nd set of spots to the Lightbar Need to get some Blue & Blue/White cable to wire em up..
