Fitted new steering damper, and changed the EP90 in both axles. Also scrubbed all the grime off the roof, nice and white now :D

Ha, you were doing the same as us today then! Took half a can of WD-40, a big hammer, two pairs of mole grips and a bloody big vice to get the ball joints out of my steering rods. Nice shiny new ones in now though :)

Yup  Gonna book it in for early next week, still gotta sort out niggly things like my intermittent rear fog lamp. Fingers crossed though :D
When you going up to Harpers?

28th ent it? Any idea on what time?

Yeah 28th is the registration day. Takes me a good 6-7hrs to get up there, and probably more in the 110  but I think (hope) I will be arriving at some point in the afternoon.

just rang up, be there before 4pm as registration is 9:30-4 and thats where we get our keys from. and our house codes mean were in the new houses they got :O also means were bit further away :L actually oppostie the uni turning. but next to flatt road.

stuck my offroad wheels on, still think the 7.50 r16 look a little poxy on a disco but theyre good tyres (michelin XZL) and were free :D

Tightened up the front near side wheel bearing, ready for a wheel alignment check on Thursday, don't want to wear out my new tyres.

Good 'character' building stuff that nick!

hope ya get it sorted mate;)

cheers m8...

dragged mi dad out of retirement to fabricate the panels.. he bin a metal worker since he was 15.. amazed me the stuff he can make with a hammer, a 56lb wight as an anvil and a pair of tin snips.. oldschool or what!

i was at a loss where to start even...

I took mine for a spin to get some coal yesterday. Thought I'd best start stocking up as my berry tree is full of berries which generally means a bad winter (a good winter as far as I'm concerned;):p).

I'll be attempting to weld the new bulkhead top half as well as the footwells on, weather permitting

If not I'll be re-fitting the fuel tank and putting the back of the body back on
