fluids and relax?
Your drive must have better tarmac than mine. I'd have imprints from the jacks if I didn't put wood underneath.

Thats a lot of work for a dropped bolt
Added speed stripes
Failed my MOT.
Rear fog light. I hit the light and it came on.
Hazard warning lights. Ordered a new relay and switch. Hopefully that will work.
Major oil leak from top oil cooler pipe.
Not horrendous, but still not happy.
This wasnt a normal leak, it was literally ****ing out all over the shop. He actually said it was a hazard to other road users.I also had various spots of leaking engine and both diffs but was unable to determine the source. but I didn't mention the leaks I though that would be a given here.
note to self, don't drive by Barnsley. should I update a hazard warning to Waze usersThis wasnt a normal leak, it was literally ****ing out all over the shop. He actually said it was a hazard to other road users.
Nearly finished fitting the Front Springs & Dampers, have I got a 22mm spanner for the bottom nuts?
Have I buggery......
just got back from a full service, with some advisorys which is weird because it passed its MOT in January with no advisories... which I know is an impossible feat for a Landy. followed by driving home and finding my front RHD mud flap had mysteriously ripped off hanging on by 10mm which then pealed of just looking at it.. those I have ordered because its not the first flap to flop.
MY QUESTION IS: for things like coil springs, steering damper/ springs, this is more but their pretty basic, I want to slowly upgrade things that need changing not just replace like for like, any suggestions on brands and suppliers.View attachment 177397 View attachment 177399
yes after thinking about it and driving about today, I like my sus springs as they are so Ill just get them replaced I would imagine their just standard I do carry tools I have fitted so shelves in the Rear I will add a pic, but the ride is nice almost maybe too bouncy but I'm not doing springs yet I thing the rust is appropriate for now. the front centre steering I think looks like terrifirma from the research I've done..... here's my general load which is an old picture so its not as tidy and theirs more tools now. the last image is not my usual sag that was an extremely heavy load and on the roof severeal sheets of 18mm glass, plus my bike which over hangs a metre or more behind. hah.Yes, the front mud flaps don't last long for some reason. I've given up trying to keep any on mine. I see your return to centre steering damper is going rusty in the same way mine is. As regards suspension renewal, a few years ago I changed the elderly Britpart shock absorbers for Koni units and put standard Britpart springs on it. The ride is a bit firmer than it was before, and the vehicle sits a bit higher, but I think it's better overall. I also changed all the bushes and the rear suspension ball joint at the same time and it all seems to have lasted pretty well.
