changed my oil and filter yesterday and changed my fuel filter today. think i have problems with my lift pump though as it doesnt want to bleed properly and if I accelerate then change gears or slow down to a junction it goes really gutless or dies and doesn't want to restart. the only thing I can think is that there is air in the filter so I used my suction kit to pull fuel through the bleed screw with vacuum and hope that has sorted it but I'll see in the morning.

regards what?.is the float chamber getting full, are the needles centred correctly, have you got the correct springs in them, oil in the dash pots???

Ahhh.. no idea, not really done anything with carbs, my mates just got a 3.5 on SU's and it wont run right, struggles to start and then its had no power to it. he said one float was messing up and causing some weird revving.

thought it was just screw adjustments LOL
