Like that wheel carrier .. ;)

Used the 90 to tow me trailer to take some scrap, get paid, then spend it on some concrete, wood, drills and stuff. Need to fill a few holes in a concrete playground area and make some shelves and fix other stuff while kids are off today!

Ok, its not much to some, but a mountain to me, so---

I finally got my disco 200 running today again :)

had a problem with a lost valve stem cap, which despite all attempts re retrieve it, was lost.
put the rocker gear on and was evident no. 8 pushrod did`nt want to seat properly.
it started straight away ran for a few seconds then went lumpy..
I then got that horrid feeling of "oh feck"
as it was running with valve cover off, it was eveident that whatever was down no. 8 hole had moved.
re adjusted the valve clearence again, and its back to its old self again, but, with the added bonus of---
new oil warning light switch (not been working for a year or two)
new alternator (got me rev counter back)
new water pump (how long till it fails I wonder)
and was robbed of £15 for some red all seasons antifreeze stuff (bet the rad leaks now)
Oh, and a complete cam belt kit....

As my years grow, it gets harder to do the easyist of jobs, but by doing a bit by bit, it gets done in the end :D

am happy for a while...

well, until it goes wrong again at least.....
