Haha that was me mates one we done! I wana get a vid up instead when mines done!
That was 3rd gear disco tranny box pulling up a very steep hill with the back loaded to the roof with oak lol. It really is amazing what a small little thing changes

Anything more than light grey/black smoke on full bore is just wasting fuel and not gaining anything so defo will turn it back a little..

Yes fella they are abit steep at £70 odd, but it really does transform it. Turbo seems to spool up a little quicker and the sort of mid range power seems a lot better. Supposed to increase mpg but I doubt it will make any difference.

I think the trim pin with an uprated intercooler would be the dogs!! That's next on my list lol..

You can find him on Facebook, his name is Morgan Hill from Sweden.

I've nicked the photo of Facebook just so you can see the differences..

One on the left std and on the right is the trim pin.

aligned the exhaust properly at work (4 poster is so much easier) managed to spot that the nsr spring seat is trying to escape the chassis. what's the best way to weld it up? I'm thinking relive the pressure of the spring and stitch weld the crack up. or is there anything I need to take into account?

Nope just put the jack on the chassis so weight is off the mount. Clean it all up, you'd want to take the spring out and do a real good job..
Don't forget to disconnect the batty

I recently had my 200 tdi fuel pump re built and whilst at the diesel specialist, he fitted some new stuff to it and advised me to fit a larger intercooler, so one Allard cooler later, its as quick accelerating as my modded td5 110, and only smokes a bit of white on start up for a minute or so until some heat is in the cylinders, cost was only £30 more than standard pump re build

nice one cheers battery and alternator would be disconnected, standard procedure when I weld on any car. now just to attack the spring to get it out the way. shame I haven't got the money for a lift kit as I could fit that instead of refitting the standard stuff

I'd be tempted to add some more metal after the stitch.. its cracking for a reason. (probably rot)

I am thinking that because its cracked so close to the spring seat I might add some small angle as reinforcement but either way it needs sorting pronto before I lose the back of my disco

Anyone know if there are some conversion kits for the turbo hoses on a 200tdi disco engine. Mine are popped, one has been eaten by the alternator and the other is old and worn so small holes are appearing.
Just wondered if there was a kit out there with hoses and air boxes to free that side up a bit.

Ask if he'd sell the hoses seperate if you've already got the pipework..

Honestly it just fell off!

Fitted a new stereo. It's one of those cheap chinese jobbies that does absolutely everything. So far so good. If anyone's interested I'll review it some time when I've used it enough to get a good idea of whether it's worth having.
