Aachen using it for the first time since I replaced all the diff and transmission oils I noticed what can only be described as a Spirograph pattern on my rear wheels and tyres, someone did say check the breathers, but I forgot!!
So today I checked and unblocked the rear breather, then realised the line was all clogged up, so I have ordered all new ones plus a set of new hub caps.

After recently snapping one of my breather banjo's, I decided to replace all of them with push fit type connectors. Also added a manifold to the bulkhead just to tidy things up a bit.

What's involved in changing the pin over and how do you order one.

Take the top of the pump off (4 screws) take out the diaphram, can't remember what size spanner but just unscrews out the top and screw in new one.
Email adress is on the sticker to order or ask any questions.
They are a little pricey mind, to get the best id want to put a larger intercooler on aswell, it's on my list lol.

He sells them at £64 new I think but I got mine cheap of a friend in Sweden. Personally wouldn't spent that much If I were to buy one..
But it does make a good difference!

what does it do? as i thought you can turn the pin to adjust the boost anyway

It's just an upgraded pin, different shape.
It delivers different fuel rate over mid range throttle, turbo seems to spool up little quicker and more power sort of mid range like ah said.
Only thing by turning the standard pump you raise the egt up wich isn't good, it will still be hotter with this but not as bad as it's not trying to pump more fuel in all the time.

I've turned my diaphram and star wheel back from when I turned it up with the old pin.

New one on the right

This is what the yanks run on the big diesels haha crazy..

Fitted a new stereo. It's one of those cheap chinese jobbies that does absolutely everything. So far so good. If anyone's interested I'll review it some time when I've used it enough to get a good idea of whether it's worth having.

I brought a cheap chinese DVD player (no inbuilt screen tho) 10 years ago been great until it got damp! Water was quite deep!

I then got another cheap chinese just fitted it in an its amplifier is terrible got a constant background noise quite loud. Need to get another so please do review this I'm put off by the lcd bit delicate for my liking but if the rest of the stereo is good with no background noise I may well be interested in one

No probs. I'll give it a little while yet but there are niggles with the UI. As far as sound goes it's pretty good though.

Fitted a new steering guard:

Would have been an easy job but the bolt holes on the plate didn't line up with the brackets. Had to drill extra holes to make it fit.

Set off in it last night and the temp gauge going off the scale in a couple of miles. Engine a normal temperature so assumed sender. Fitted new sender this morning and ended up with an air lock so just got rid of that and now going for a quick run to check it out.....

Fitted bearings to the new input gear on me new transfer box. A hammer and a hub nut spanner as a drift did the job perfectlyuploadfromtaptalk1400939578768.jpg
