Started and completed phase one of Operation Bench . This is the military 110 Wolf benches I have if anyone's interested. I did a photo guide on how to fit, had to cut the brackets down to fit the 90 though but it was two seconds with an angle grinder. Cracking, very solid bits of kit they are
Spent yesterday and most of today repairing my bulk head
The wife's uncle is a fabricator so he is doing it for me
but in the process is learning me to mig weld
I must say its easier that i thought, find it great fun, and think its something I will be doing lots of with a land rover
Fitted my new front bumper i got fur 30 quid from a landrover garage......then washed and polished her...wea a bit of tcut thrown in....not bad looking fur 17 years old
We went for a bit of a drive yesterday, so I got to spend the afternoon straightening things which shouldn't be so quite so bent and drilling holes to bespoke the now utterly knackered front bumper end caps, the bumper didn't fare so well either, and of course a great deal of time was spent getting the mud / clay off it. The steering box is well on its last legs now though, I wish that I had the $ for a replacement but lhd boxes are rarer than hens teeth. Still, good day out yesterday.
