Fitted my LED side, tail and indicator lights today. Very pleased with them but trouble is now... my headlights look sh1te in comparison :eek::p
 
Fitted a cb I got off my brother last night, re-wired the co-ax from the aerial to it, job's a good 'un.

Then tried to get the radio to work .. the aux works, the cd works, but the radio aerial doesn't .. no matter, it will eventually .. ;)
 
Fitted new alternator, £43 + VAT dont you just love Landys! last one cost £200 for Jap nonsense...happy with my purchase and also bought parts to rebuild the old one, Landys are just the best :) :)
 
Had one of those rare days when everything seemed to go well.....

firstly big thanks to the courier....

my heavy duty bars turned up....

then the postman rocked up with my new steering uj's so I chopped , sleeved, lengthened and welded to make a longer column, painted copper slipped and fitted the longer column....

next got the first coat of paint on the remaining lift spacers...

trial fitted the modified oil cooler pipes.....

so now the 300tdi will mate to the full width v8 rad....

and finally tonight got the fuel filter housing painted...

and started to fit the clocks to the refurb'd n sprayed dash...

My dad and I 'removed' (mutilated) all my seized grenade valve caps. I couldn't recommend aluminium valve caps any less now, thanks to that salt on the road

The bars, not sure between sumo or terrafirma..

Editt* just seen adrenalin 4x4 sell both bars on eBay £80. An absolute bargain!

jetwashed underneth to get the yarwell sand off her before she rots away then spent the rest of the day trying to clear up the mess I'd made lol.
think next time i'll be getting the worst off at a carwashes jet wash
 
Adjusted my driver side mirror... again!!

For some reason when I tighten it up it tips down so that it finishes up aiming lower than I would like!

There must be a way of doing it!!

another odds n sods day.....

got round to fitting the disco front seat belt stalks in the rear of the 110.....

fitted using M12 125mm 12.9's that are long enough to go clean through the brackets I made n painted yesterday and bolt correctly to the chassis...

they bolt through the original csw rear seat belt holes...

and look spot on when seat is locked in.....

then finally got round to fitting the disco 2 transfer box output flange so I could fit the hd double cardon prop that's been sat on the shelf for 3 years.... brand new and only £40 from the old sod in newbury...
