what can't speak,cannot lie.;)

LOL, well next is ideas about how to get the winch bumper up onto the Landy as its too heavy for me to lift.

I thought jacks, I have a couple for the trailer, Timtheenchanter and Nrgserv suggested putting it onto the front of the Focus and driving into it  They forgot the small issue of how to lift it onto the Focus.

So any ideas folks :D:D

As said trolley jack or a load of Blocks add one to each end and keep adding until it's high enough to fit to the landy. :D

That would fail the challenge and I might as well ask nrgserv to fit it :D

The challenge is to fit it on my own

My own fault cause at the weekend I asked Neil to fit it and happened to say "its only 4 bolts, how hard can it be":eek::eek::eek::eek::D:D:D:D:D

Borrow or hire an engine hoist?

Don't have to be an engine needs lifting.

1) get a few bricks

2) lift one end onto a brick....now go to the other end and lift onto a brick

3) repeat 2 until it's high enough to drive the landy up to it so you can fit it ;)

Ah! right then, hmm, how about dig a large hole so when you drive into it the bumper bracket is at ground level? :p

Just re-insured the old landy just need a MOT and I'm off and running (after 11 months I'm just a tad excited :D

Thank you, all great ideas, I like the idea of digging my drive up and driving into it though :D

Would really really annoy the neighbours :D:D:D

Booked the Disco in for a cambelt change.

Got my friendly neighbourhood welder to agree to stitch the bodyshell back together. (Rot goes up into C-post on one side so I suspect he's going to be taking plenty of beer tokens off me).
