Not today but on Friday I stripped out the load space and laid some extra sound deadening CCF which has cut the exhaust sound almost completely.

Also replaced the headunit and separate BT hands free with a headunit that does both.

Fitted anti roll bar poly bushes and got to know more of the underside of the car, think I need a new inner drive shaft gaiter, there is a line of grease around the engine bay. Oh and took it to the west of Ireland and back and not one hiccup :)

Fitted a Android mirror with a 5" capacative touchscreen, front and rear camera, GPS, ++.

Forever black' the external plastic. Got nearly 2 coats on and felt some spots of rain on my head. It's stopped now but I hope I don't go out later to find a black tide mark around the car...

Today i have been busy working on the Freelander. After around 4 hours all i have to show for is fitting a hazard switch to the center console. Lets just say im not gonna wrap it with CF :D

The reason for fitting a hazard switch to the console is im gonna fit the console to a pre-facelift FL1. Its a Saab 9000/9-5 switch.

That's a ball ache Dangermike, the damage didn't look that bad…

Any plans to buy it off the insurance and get it back on the road?

I didn't think so either! But there was steering damage. Which means automatic write off apparently ....

My insurance don't allow to be bought back, however I just bought this :) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433456660.351251.jpg

Well not exactly done anythng to t, but a new to me 55 commercial freelander driven to work for the first tme after collecting last night.
A few issues to deal with, gearbox jumps out of 2nd, so sourcing a replacement box and clutch while I am at it alarm went of last night so been reading this forum as to why looks straight forward.

Now whilst getting clutch changed looking on this forum for advantages to change to a solid flywheel, as have seen converson kits and I am guessing there must be an advantage.

Now looking forward to many hours fixing landy faults ;)
