Started cleaning up the rear drums

I have to say I think half the drum is on the floor as rust. Does anyone know what company made the drum? Think I might get a new set.

Well, I routed in my new cd players microphone today. Although the car's interior is in bits at the moment in front of the house. I also paid for some tax.

I attempted to fix the central locking on the drivers side but failed. The locksmith I spoke to said the motor was working as he could hear it and said the rod had probably popped off. Got the door card off but couldn't work out the rest.

My door lock was playing up the other day

Pop the door card off use a mirror to help u see the green tab

Check the rod is located using the mirror

If its all in tact spray loads silicone lube not wd then I used a rubber mallet and tapped the latch bolts head then sprayed more silicone lube and it started working

Today - Replaced the Master and Slave Cylinder, dried out the underboot area, fitted a VDO Dayton CD and Satnav unit, washed the Freebie and Linseed Oiled the Bumpers! More or less standard weekly maintaince! :D

Today I'm going to give me 2004 Freelander a nice wash, followed by 3 stages of Meguiars polish and wax. I've got the clay bar neatly trimmed ready to make the paintwork gleem.

I will post before and after photos, later today.

That's my plan too buddy. Its long over due a full detail. Although I think what I intend to do to it might take me longer than a day :(

Replaced the entire front wiring harness. Took about 4 hrs + bodging the missing intake manifold temp sensor wires, about another hour and a half................ A pain in the arse to do, and still didn't cure my problem. Grrrrrr!
