Heat guns work quite well. I've had some good results in the past with faded trim.

I've mentioned it before, but GTechniq C4 is what I use now. 15ml is enough to do 2 cars. Pricey, but it lasts for ages! I used it on my MINI when I bought early last year. Not had to re-apply it yet.

Fitted this. Why? Well I'll be selling it in the next few weeks (my Silver td4) and have some bits that are surplus to my requirements that I can't fit to my rally Freelander. I'll also be fitting some more silicone hoses and stainless intercooler piping and an induction filter to get rid of that nasty plastic job at the front of the engine. All adds to the "comp safari" look and makes it a little more appealing to those who are interested in purchasing such a vehicle knowing everything they need has already been done........................
Well that's my theory and i'm sticking to it.

3 amigos appeared today - a gentle tap of the hammer on the abs sensor seems to have fixed it - my nsf wheel thumped our front door step yesterday ...must have knocked the abs sensor out of whack a bit.

Nice photos RealBeale, it looks like you fitted this item?

Changed the twin relay, auto mirror fold control to a single relay type. This was then fitted into the spare bay next to the fuse box.

Had a 5 hour drive down to Dunedin today for the rugby tomorrow. So checked the levels. Oil - spot on. Coolant - bottle empty as expected. Must check it out some time, bottle empties real quick, but never goes any lower. Can't be serious- it's an L series.
