Nice, what did you use for the blacking of the trim?
This time i used Forever Black Bumper & Trim Dye Kit, its a bit pricey but i've tried the usual suspects and they didn't last long at all.
This is supposed to last For 50 washes
Hot air gun
That's the only one i've not tried.
Not sure i would trust myself near the paint work with a heat gun
I used a bit of cardboard as a shield
Fitted this. Why? Well I'll be selling it in the next few weeks (my Silver td4) and have some bits that are surplus to my requirements that I can't fit to my rally Freelander. I'll also be fitting some more silicone hoses and stainless intercooler piping and an induction filter to get rid of that nasty plastic job at the front of the engine. All adds to the "comp safari" look and makes it a little more appealing to those who are interested in purchasing such a vehicle knowing everything they need has already been done........................
