Fitted the TF +5" adjustable shocks, well, it is sad that TF have made the height of the pins so short that getting the nut to engage is a right PITA.

Also fitted matching Extreme 4x4 front springs. They went on easily.

The +5" brake lines mostly went on OK.

Cheers

Well, today I have replaced the UJs on the steering shaft in an effort to get the front wheel to point roughly in the same direction and at the same time as I turn the steering wheel.

There was a slight improvement. The drop arm ball joint is next. Then I may get to experience that famous "vague" steering everybody has been bragging about.;)

Put on 2 (balanced)front tyres. Hopefully the wobble may be gone.

Got some more speed stripes with @My Old Landy today

Found the reason the reversing light was on continously, I'd connected the wrong green wire to it :( Rewired the rear wiper, got that right 1st time. :D:D
Rewired the leccy cooling fan, was sure I'd got it right, waggled a few connections and it worked a bit. Changed the relay, worked a bit better, changed the inline fuse holder, works perfectly. Fecking electrics.
Squirted some white silicon in the roof/screen joint, also around the glass in the rear door, splashed a bit more paint around.

Collected some more engine oil.
Tested new tyres.
Woop woop no wobble
I had an indicated 67mph backed up by the satnav on the way back down the A34 yesterday
That's the fastest I have gone in the old girl and no wobble ;) all that bouncing must have straightened up the front end

Finished painting the body.

Refitted the rear wiper and spare wheel carrier. Failed to fit the rear door trim panel that I had salvaged off my 110 before I sold it 7 or 8 years ago.:( Door check arm is in a totally different position between a 1985 110 and my current 1991 90. Think I will make one out of ply.
Faffed about putting some sound deadning mat on top of the seat box, got the seats back in, and started painting a couple of the wheels.

That's a great picture. I love the way you have got the height and gradient perspective to show. Although, it still probably looked steeper and higher in real life. Whenever I take shots like that it looks completely flat on the picture :(

So looks like a blown a fuse to the side lights. Not got a tester to check as these are glass fuses and may just need a clean.

Now if I put the headlights on the rear lights also come on. I’m sure they should come on with the side lights ?

Sat towing a horse trailer @54mph hate this speed as it’s happy in 4th but don’t like 5th.
100mile round trip.
