Went out this morning to it being down down down, then realised it was lower on the NS due to it having no bump stop as it had rotted off !!!, found this last week adn am waiting for the new one to arrive.

Have noticed it starting to be difficult to start over the last few weeks, but intermittent. Sometimes on the button, others it takes multiple cranks....Today noticed the pump is getting whiney on ignition on. Changed the fuel filter while waxolyling the chassis. Still whinety on ignition on.

May have to do a bit more investigation.

Cheers

Replaced N/S/R wheel bearings whilst sorting the leaky hub seal. ALWAYS check your axle breathers, that's what usually does for the seals...true to form, mine were blocked, must've missed 'em on my last service schedule.....lesson re-learned...

Replaced rear pads whilst at it (worn and contaminated) - Blimey, the rear calipers weren't seized...God Bless Copper-slip!!
Also - prepped for the little bit of welding to do this week - it'll take longer to get the welder out than to do the job!!

Finally - re-fixed to saggy headlining above the dash....

Checked mine over for its MOT on Monday, lights etc. fingers crossed.

Then this evening got a call from my Father to say that his 300tdi clutch has stopped working. Gears cannot be selected.........Have to love them.

Cheers

That sounds like a bit of one-upmanship right there!

Haha, yeah OK I enjoyed doing it the first time "not". Fiddley as fook.

Tried to fit some jate rings too but got defeated. Thought I might be able to fit them to the front But the bumper mounts won't alow it as the ring isn't wide enought.

So tried putting them on the aft but the towing bracket bolts has seized. Any ideas for front end

The diagrams I had been looking at were for a 2003 LHD where the front windows were controlled by the BCU and the rear were wired directly. The RHD must be different then.
