Whats the D3 ? My D2 is great, but something just as capable but newer is on the horizon. I do like the D3's design.

On my story, my D2 passed its MOT, two advisories... the F/O/S wheel bearing, which is coming off anyway, to replace the axle seal, and the fact the chassis has rusty bits ... what D2 doesnt. No holes though... .

Got the old girl through another MOT with a small patch, new number plate, realigned headlight and putting a rear bumper corner back on.
Stripped the rear seats out and have now got it as tip run vehicle and back up tow car if the Iveco is not performing.

2 front bearings on th D3 £303
2 new pirelli zero's £270
still needs tracking up but current situation has knocked that on the head

Took the D2 out for a full tank of fuel, plus fill two 20litre jerry cans. Fuel prices are going up, as Russia and Saudi Arabia have agreed to cut oil production...

Did the old serpentine delete, without removing the fan, oh i also got it out without cutting it :cool:

Started it up hoping the horrible rattle was an accessory, no luck!!

Still sounds like this fella is inside the engine..

I haven't driven Myrtle in a few weeks so I did an "Italian tune up".
I dumped some Berryman's in to my half tank of fuel, drove around in second gear at 50MPH with the revs at 4200RPM for about 30 minutes.
She semi kinda purrs like a kitten/mountain lion now. lol
