Its the facelift mate... the tubing is roughly 8mm inside diameter. Its pretty chunky, due to the pressure. Its just gone hard over the years, which makes the fittings almost impossible to get off without breaking them

It sounds dull but opposite our office we have a specialist auto guy who looks after alternators, batteries, auto electrical etc

I asked him to check my D3's battery voltage out of curiosity he was really made up and said " 14.55v DC on tick over, all good owd ( stoke term I think it means mate ha ha )
 
Dropped off at the MOT station this morning up Tunstall duck (for the Stokies in the group) got the phone call three hours later............ all good, just two minor advisories plus the annual "oil leak" comment..... yippee..
 
Looks good. I still have my set to install. I'm leery of installing them with just a screw into the plastic. I want to add a nut plate to the underside to secure it better when I screw it in.
I was iffy as well, but they feel sturdy enough.
