Well today I fitted the last bulb that was missing in my climate control unit, and started to have a tinker with the CB.

Will fit the rest tomorrow after I have awoken from the dead

Now if you had said a few weeks ago, I could have sent you the unit as a spare with your other package.
(See the other 'Newbie' didn't hang about!!)

Charged it up and took it for a spin :)

Ahh bugger. It's ok as the bulbs were only £1.49 each from maplin so wasn't much of a job. And shame he didn't stick around, there is plenty to learn!

finally got my electric drivers seat fitted

at last

replaced the cloth seat cover and had to alter wiring in order for it to work

On the front axle, the diff breather pipe runs up the nearside of the radiator. The factory fitted filter at the top of the pipe hardens over time and stops working causing a vacuum in the diff. This can cause the seals to blow out.
There is a modified breather I'm going to steal Gary's photo

Just a case of cutting the old off and pushing the new on.
I had a small release of pressure when I snipped mine :)

That's great thank you :) I'll crawl under mine and have a little look see (after I've finished removing the engine from the sierra ;) )

You dont need to crawl under, just pop your bonnet ;) and you can see the pipe to the right of the rad, probably just below the top hose to the coolant bottle

Just did this mod on mine and I got a really long hiss like undoing a bottle of coke! Thanks for the tip! Will get the new beather ordered asap
