Went to remove driveshaft and hub (bush that just WILL.NOT.COME.OUT...) to discover that of the six bolts holding it, one was a few mm loose and undid by hand very easily, two more undid by hand and the other three only needed the tiniest of twists with the ratchet before also being very loose. Leading me to think that whoever last put them in went finger tight and forgot to go back and tighten properly. So yet again, the thing I did with my RR was swear at the previous owner!!

This ought to do it - with a paintball minigun mounted under the bumper...

It'll allow air in to cause a long start or dribble on the engine while running matey 👍
ok thanks.. starts straight away but you can hear air being purged when the pump self primes at ignition on
can hear a hissing noise from the return pipe when the ignition is on and the pump is running/priming

not the L322, friends car i mentioned a couple of weeks ago that keeps stalling

Fitted new thermostat to Green P38 & started filling coolant system with water to flush & then will drain & refill properly.

Then discovered that Hankook battery I had charged yesterday is knackered although it had enough juice to tell me the car was in Key Code Lockout & do all the window beeps !!

Gave spare battery a 30min charge while waiting, but got Keycode Lockout again as expected. Another 30 Mins later entered EKA using Nanocom, but both batteries haven't got enough grunt to fire the starter.

New MF31-1000 ordered.
New battery arrived the other day. Did a top up charge & installed it. Then went for 30min coffee while waiting for Key Code Lockout to time out again. Started first time & finished topping up water in cooling system. Heater working again & only fault was the compressor relay but that's due to low AC gas.

Next job will be flush system & refill with coolant mix, and then rebuild the dash.
