Update on the mysterious tapping I've been getting, mostly at idle.
Since I've unplugged the apparently broked lpg 'driver' and done an adaptive values reset, I've not heard any naughty noises! Not a single tap!
Admittedly it was intermittent, but I've done a few miles today and not heard a peep..

Never pulled a v8 apart only done Cortina and mini engines.
