And that folks is how you make working on your RR more fun

Think you said something about a jubilee clip and lots of lube?
I guess the proper tool is along the lines of a funnel?
Some sort of tapered bearing might be better. Brian did his recently.
I did but i got the proper tool along with the a complete set of bushes and bolts from a member on here![]()
unless a road trip is on the cards.
Will i manage with something to use as a spacer so i don't press the middle bit and wind it up in a vice?
I'll keep that in mind!! thank youJust had a look at royal mail they want £12 i could post the tool up to you and just send it back when you are done, if that any help to you.
+1 puttin em back in with vice is when vice snaps in half and lands on yer foot. Not that I ever did thatPossibly to get them out but not to put them back in
Really! hand on heart+1 puttin em back in with vice is when vice snaps in half and lands on yer foot. Not that I ever did that![]()

Yep, I planned to but got the builders merchant without it. Those splinters are a pain to get out, forget the vacuum, tweezers! That’ll teach me.....We it's nice weather to do a bit of decking
You should have put a dust sheet down so you don't get wood splinters in your interior![]()
I find with Jubilees if you do em too tight, they can pop open usually after, you've closed the bonneti've just checked my coolant level... again.. and its down.. again!!!!
I think jubilee clips are the invention of the devil!! put the hose on.. tighten up and test to 10 psi.. dry as a bone.. go for a run, check again and its leaking at 5psi.. rinse.. repeat..
think i need to get some of the proper spring clips
