Took Buttercup out for a drive today for a couple of hours, mixed A roads and motorway, I've convinced myself that replacing the body mounting bushes has made her quieter on the road, so a couple of days worthwhile work.:):)
In other news, having problems with the rear wiper, :(:( see separate thread.

Finally got the power steering pipes replaced, Why? with such a big engine bay did Land Rover decide to cram everything in the corner? snagged on everything, heater hoses, thermostat, trans cooler lines, steering box mounting bolts, trying to feed the new ones in on my own, gave up till my brother got back to help, then went back together easily.

Adjusted the drivers door catch so the door closes without a massive panel gap..

You could just about get a large ham in there before..

We it's nice weather to do a bit of decking
You should have put a dust sheet down so you don't get wood splinters in your interior :D
Yep, I planned to but got the builders merchant without it. Those splinters are a pain to get out, forget the vacuum, tweezers! That’ll teach me.....

I find with Jubilees if you do em too tight, they can pop open usually after, you've closed the bonnet:rolleyes:
if I need to replace any in the future I'm gonna try those T-bolt ones, they look pretty well engineered.
