@martyuk I think does reconditioned door lock assemblies. The individual micro switches, there are 3, can be found on line, making up the 3 switch block is not so easy though. If you want to re-do the micro switches, I would get a second hand door lock from a breaker and overhaul that. Luckily, I already have a spare from my scrapper..

He does although people keep failing to send him their old ones back.

He puts new switches in and upgrades the centre one as that takes more current from the boot button.

Yup! I have no knowledge whatsoever in this field so it's going to be an interesting voyage of discovery.

Arr yes, the cause and effect thing, you hold in your fingers what is known as the effect ie a blown fuse sir, now as to the cause well where to start thats the question, damp in a connection is a good one for starters and for main course we have the bloody tuners blown up ! ps. best of luck.
 
I went out to investigate my non-opening tailgate only to find I now have an opening tailgate. I'll give everything I can see a clean and re-grease just in case.

Well that’s a coincidence. I went out yesterday and found that my tailgate switch is NOT working. I can open the top section but the bottom section button seems to be depressed and can’t be further depressed leaving the lower tailgate firmly shut which is a bugger when trying to load the shopping for three vulnerable households that I am currently the only person that can shop for them.

It’s a 2011 model L322. Any suggestions - other than sell it because it’s an L323!
