Ok great. I'm going to ask - is it prudent to replace both ends at the same time or only as they wear out?

That would be the sensible option but after much f*cking about I left the other end and figured I'd do it when it rattled.

Back home from working away for 9 months Battery connected turned the key...…...cranked for maybe 2~3 seconds and away the beast went, after a minuet or 2 the suspension came up to wade height and came up off the stands, topped up the tyre pressures a gentle roll forward and back to check the brakes and all is good in the world. One happy camper.:D:D:D

Spent about 15 mins opening + closing the bonnet to try and get the "bonnet open" message to go off when it was clearly closed, came back in and searched on here, found the answer and remembered I had beers in the fridge so that make the switch a job for the morning :)

Just ordered my new intank pump from island 4x4. £155.00 inc delivery to France.
Hopefully out to play next week... fingers crossed.

Replaced the front diff pinon oil seal this morning, no dramas, it was only a very slight weep but as I had to replace the rear one I'd ordered two at the same time, just got round to fitting it.
Thought I aught to check the fluid level in the diff afterwards expecting to need to top up a little.
Bummer, half a cupfull of oil drained out of the fill/level plug. Very dark as well so suspect a bit of transfer from the swivels.
Just when I thought I was getting near the end of the list.:(

Got all the windows set:), tried last week but no good so did a search and now I know why I have always struggled:oops:
Hold button down at bottom of window movement and then again at top of movement 1st time every window:).
Then off to the shop. Consider the cobwebs blown;)
Also realised she needs a dam good wash. Tomorrow’s job maybe.

Oh just managed to get a little vid of cobweb blowing.
Before anybody says “that’s a bit irresponsible on public roads”:p
Hardly on our roads.
Enjoy.
