Congratulations, now the fun starts, expect to see you posting at all sorts of ungodly hour whilst up with the little one (boy - girl) you didn't say all the best with your new addition:):):):)

Well I made a mistake, the mistake I made was to remove the battery and to give it a full charge (thought it was the prudent thing considering it has been sat for 3 weeks in the snow and ice, what's the worst that can happen right, I mean its only a battery in out job, done that loads of times over the years on my cars).
Obviously shouldn't have done considering the posts I have now seen, put the battery back on to find everything's gone tits up, sucked the life out of the battery trying to start it so its back on charge for a bit while I soak in some knowledge and go at it in a more prepared manner, I knew the nanocom was a wise purchase.
Was such a nice day to go clay shooting as well, probably not the first day that's been ruined by a P38, been fairly stress free up till today,

Prepped for a run tomorrow from Sevastopol to Sakskyi in Crimea, Its only 150 km but on Russian roads it will take a few hours and there is some snow about. All the levels are good and the heating is working so all should be good.

Sussed it (i hope, could be back to square one tomorrow who knows). Didn't clean the earth clamp good enough, was quite corroded and didn't quite fit, made a new post shim out of a flattened beer bottle top and gave it a good scrubbing (will get the dremmel on it next weekend), input the EKA and runs beautifully again Decided to throw a service kit on it and reset the adaptives as well, such a lovely smooth engine.

And got to park right outside my door for a change as well, just in case it flattens again I can run my charger into the car if needed.

Replaced the evap purge valve 5 min job washed it stood back smiled then spotted my rad is leaking from the top little plastic pipe that goes to the expansion bottle.......is that any way to repay me..........new rad time then, gonna change the hoses while I'm at it and new mikalor clamps for good measure.

Today, I mostly looked out the window at George and then lay sleeping on the couch (well, best I could with the pain in my ribs & foot).

Tomorrow, if I feel better, I will possibly drive down to visit my sister & brother in law & allow them to take me for a pint to celebrate his birthday :D

Apart from the dodgy controls in my heater HEVAC unit, George is a great drive & comfy to boot :)
