Are clay bars that good Josh00mac?
Forgive my ignorance but how do you use one? And are there any better ones to go and ones to avoid?
Is that the same as the "two bag" method when you're with an ugly woman? You both wear one in case her's falls off when you're sh**ging.Need lube with a claybar. Skooshy bottle with a bit of car shampoo mixed in is good.
Wash car first, then clay, then wash again..and wax/polish/whatever.
Also, use 2 bucket method for best results

Clay is abrasive. That is why it is used in toothpaste. Not heard of clay bars but guessing it is clay with some colour restorer? If so it will slowly take the paint down, like T-cut.
It's more like blutac - it pulls grit and dirt out of the paint, as long as you've used lube, it doesn't affect the paintwork at all.
