Yes it does look that way albeit i am a firm believer in " Spend to save " in the long run so once my issue is finally fixed i hope to have at least one of the best running P38 2.5 DT's out there. That's the plan anyway so when the time comes to sell on at least i can list everything i have had done so the new owner will know exactly what they are getting for their money.

Plus i like to tinker as much as i can health allowing these days. Just wish i had the strength i had 20 years ago before ill health issues slowed me down. Keeping positive is my only real weapon today. I will get there and i will enjoy my newly aquired P38. That i am sure of.

Nah,it's that time of the year, lots of places to visit at Halloween. :D

I thought the point was she was allowed out on Halloween but had to be back indoors by All Souls Day? Or so says Hot Damn Gang-star Prof Chris Witty, leader of the plebs in lockdown city.

Ah powerbox now we know your rattling issues. Not clever it will chew an auto

Enthusiast? Well, remap plus Powerbox on top may well smoke. Remap probably chucked in as much fuel as it could take without smoking too much and then powerbox will add a squirt more. If that's what he has.

It'll certainly stress an HP22 box. Maybe it has been upgraded to HP24?

Pretty sure he mentioned a remap by someone. Turners?
Yes it was remapped in 2017 by Turners to stage 1 and cost £350 on the invoice. Long before my ownership and the car has only done 5k miles since 2017 and the £8000 the previous owner paid Turners for all the work done.

NO POWER BOX fitted. It was an ECU remap.

It also has a small clear filter off it too Wammers.
Think you had better post some photos of what you think is this or that and their connections. Obviously you don't have much of an idea what you are doing, sorry to be terse but ask and you will be put straight. There is a small valve on N/S bulkhead it is the EGR control valve. Should be a vac pipe from vac pump to it and a pipe to EGR valve from it. The MAP sensor pipe goes from under manifold to sensor.

That is the item Wammers and my mistake it has no pipe off it to the mapp sensor. Just me getting all confused and ****ed off with it all.
