Go on, take it out for a blast and see if runs better! Should wake up next door's cat.
I am tempted albeit i dont wish to cause any further damage so i shall refrane from doing so until its all here and fitted back on. I have also tonight bought a Turbo solenoid Boost valve as another process of illimination of those small items which i can change myself. It was only £32 with a 5 year warranty so worth a punt in my quest to solve my rough running issue.

I've no clue what the plug type is to buy the other half, I can take a pic...

This is the badger

Is that the one from the boot for tow bar auxiliary If it is I just cut it off to attach my solar panel. Think the other half came with the Land Rover auxiliary socket wiring you purchased from them
Yes that's it i think. There's +12v ground do you know what the other 2 are?
Sounds like i need to improvise

Unless you want to fit auxiliary socket forget them (look in Rave for what they did, I've forgotten off hand) You only need the live (was for fridge in caravan when stopped for short time) and the ground

Kermit sez it's too big for a standard PWM. I have no idea what the wiring on a tow bar socket does, I've never messed with one.
When I towed caravans you had 2 sockets. Main one was for lights, indicators, brakes. This plugs into socket on the right hand side of boot. You had a second socket to power fridge and other auxiliaries inside caravan, This is the one on the left hand side of boot. Now a days caravans have all the pins in one socket and modern cars are wired accordingly
