Play day fixing broken bits of plastic, replaces the tailgate seal with the one from my scrapper after cleaning it and cleaning the the metal work. Found that the water leak is due to water getting into the seal mounting groove at the top and running down inside the seal into the spare wheel well.
Replaced the aircon belt and now have the aircon working again, just in time as it got close to 30C today:D

A better man than I working in this heat ;)

Today I replaced the grotty old headliner, with new fabric from Martin trim!

Replaced the rear A frame ball joint and the top bushes for polys. Job actually went well, biggest arse I had was trying to fiddle the whole assembly out and under. Eventually managed without having to remove the prop or exhaust.
Biggest surprise was all bolts came out easy (probably because I bought a set of new) got the joints somewhere near with a lever and hammer, then used one of the old bolts as a drift to final line things up before new bolts went in. Plenty of copper coat on everything, (no not the ball joint !!) Road tested and that annoying clunk over speed ramps is a thing of the past, till next time anyway. Knackered now, I'll have a day off tomorrow and start on the rest of the bushes on Thursday.
I can remember when I regarded jobs like this as a rest day from site work, old age, good innit. :(:(

Mine needs doing as well. But the interior will have to wait. Nice job that, though. What glue did you use?
Just used the stuff Martin trim sent, I figured its best to listen to what they say and follow their advice. I asked them to send me everything I'd need to do the job.

I spent quite a bit of time watching on line videos of pros doing the job, watching for little tricks and techniques. The clean sponge really helped getting the fabric into the contours for example. Once the glue is on, there's no going back. Also you tear the foam from the back if you try and lift the fabric once it has touched the surface of the liner, so its a once started go until you finish job. You have to picture in your mind and have a plan in place as to which way round to work.

I'm in no way affiliated with them, but they really were helpful. They stopped me from choosing the wrong fabric, I'd chosen from some samples they sent, but when I went to order they said that colour I'd selected was not used on my model, although it looked a good enough match to me! They sent me the correct colour, so used their experience to help a customer with no experience.

I'd like 2 kits from Martrim, but typical UK company, they will not ship to France claiming that the glue cannot be shipped. That is nonsense as I get lead acid batteries and all sorts of solvents delivered by DHL and the like.

@OldP38 Is there any give in the material please? The stuff I used on my Disco would not stretch over corners and into recesses at all so had a few creases.
