Fitted my roof box

Just got a phone call from Charles Hurst in Belfast, my new key arrived. Only ordered it Friday. Thank Allah for RAC key cover.

Had a lovely drive back up M1 from East Midlands Airport, Except why is there always a Honda Jazz stuck in 3rd lane doing 60mph causing me to undertake and get gobbed at for being a lout in a Range Rover. I thought this section was supposed to be a smart motorway to sort out this kind of problem. Smart motorway BAH humbug load of bo**ocks

There should be overtaking both sides, end of. It gets ridiculous.

^^^ +1

We have wing mirrors on both sides these days so makes sense. Most can’t cope with overtaking on one side as is sooo....maybe not :D

Went to the French version of halfrauds today to get a couple of new wiper blades, sorry don't do that type any more. Oh well, prats only carry stuff for 2 year old euroboxes I guess. Mine is a 1988 RRC (lhd)
Got home and tried to order from the usual suspects. No longer available. Feck. My wiper arms have a flat end with a little dimple on one side.
So thinking about it, I want new wiper arms that are splined push on type with a hook end for mounting the blades, that way I have a choice of blades.
Has anyone fitted the more modern arms from a different vehicle? I'll probably take an arm off and have a look at the nearest motor factor for the nearest in shape and size.

I've got those modern flat things on my p38. Fit fine. Think they're Bosch off Amazon.

Unfortunately not - as in I don't know. I also don't know if the later 92-94 Classic arms would fit.
Mine (1986) have a round section pin that goes vertically down through the wiper blade & clips into the end of the wiper arm - the wiper blade sits vertically on top of the arm so is parallel to the arm not pushed or hooked onto the end of it so are different again from yours.
My arms look like these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RANGE-RO...776613?hash=item5d900db7a5:g:wMYAAOSwZbFdVWhV

The LRcat pics for your MY do show an arm with a small raised(?) dimple on the end which would engage with the corresponding dimple on the blade:
RTC6787 - BLADE-WINDSCREEN WIPER 'CLASSIC PART' [ - (V)GA413742 ]
PRC6827 - BLADE-WINDSCREEN WIPER [ (V)GA413743 - ]

Likely the part numbers have been superceded over the years.
I suspect from online pics that RTC6787 are the same as mine.
Does the clip on yours look like these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-Ro...361503?hash=item4172d3dcdf:g:ZNsAAMXQJ3xRe9gG

Is the metal part of the blade itself in good order & would it be worth just fitting new rubber to them ( usually referred to as refills)? Which is what I often do with our cars.
