Oils checked, props greased and she's waiting to go out in the woods and scratch about!!

Went down to see @martyuk. Marty has got my foglights working! Corroded connectors, a dodgy earth wire (replaced) and a cloned BECM later and he's sorted it all. Cracking stuff. And as a bonus I now have a spare BECM with all my settings in case the current one goes.

Another bonus: I got to see the Faultmate in action. What a marvellous bit of kit that is. Fascinating as always listening to Marty explain the inner workings. Great day. Pity I was so hung-over from last night!

Not today but yesterday, I cleaned and polished all the black bits. If today stays dry , I will do the gold bits. Problem with these vehicles us they take two to three days to clean properly, and by the time you finish , it's time to start again.

Dropped the saner half off at work before making the pilgrimage back to work before spending 4 months with penguins. 2 things I learnt, 1, it appears at least one of my speakers have blown. 2, that the auto cutoff on Sainsbury's pumps don't always work. I ended up splashing about £3 worth of derv on the ground before I realised. Probably also my own fault for not watching what was happening, as I was looking off into space waiting for her to fill from empty. Just got to throw on the trickle charger and tuck her up outside the workshop. Wanted to park her inside the workshop, but I think someone would get upset with me taking up one of the bays for 4 months.

That is only what you bought it for. If you decide to keep it, it is nowhere near what you will have paid for it :D
It will be. It's going for its mot tomorrow and I know it'll fail. I never noticed that the abs and airbag light was on when I paid for it:(

My three options are

If it bombs I'll remove the cat, wheels, battery and a couple of other bits and weigh the rest in

Stick it on eBay with a 400 quid start price

Sort the problems and re mot it and then stick it on eBay.

Got to say though it's comfier than my discovery

Only if you get shot of it now, all other options will lead to a new lifestyle, enjoyed by RR owners.................broke :D

At the mo it owes my about 260 quid so scrapping it will make me money :D

I'll have a look on ebay and see what parts are worth removing before I weigh it in though:p
