10lbs is bugger all! Not sure how to turn with no shaft. Sticking wrench on outer bolt likelyto take 10lbs just bbecause it is not in the centre!

Not today, but over the last 4 days I've replaced...

New front bearing hub assemblies/ CV joints/ CV boots on both sides.
New axle end oil seals.
New front cover gasket, oil cooler O rings, front crankshaft oil seal, and re-fit the sump in an attempt to stop an oil leak from the front.
New alternator drive belt belt tensioner
New shock absorbers all round
New non return valve for rear wash wipe.
New switch bulbs
Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
Various little fixes and tidy ups.

Then helped Grrrr take his gearbox and transfer box out of his.

God I'm tired.

I just got a feel by hand aslong as there's no more slack then a tooths movemen t they've been good

Spent a couple of lazy hours putting my dash back together, well it has been in the high 30's today so wasnt rushing anything.

Well had to go see my mother to diagnose a rattle from her kuga.

I had to wait so to pass time I tightened my turbo rod 1 turn she now spikes to 21 and settles at 17-18psi to 3.5k she drives much nicer now.

On boost from 1750revs pulling better low down too dosent feel as lazy as before

It Already had a tuning box and
an allied sports intercooler and solid boost pipes and a decat.

Hopefully see an improvement with
changing to the plastic inlet manifold off my spare 325tds too need an egr bypass as mines a 96 pre egr model.

Bloody EAS Fault coming back from the Hospital last night !!!! here we go again

Hi All, just catching up before I take to my bed and noticed yet another EAS mention.
I had been struggling with mine since I bought my L322 last October. The OSF wheel was always sitting up in the wheel arch and the pump running like mad to keep up. By following the various suggestions I discovered that just above normal ride height there was the faintest hiss. I traced it to a pin hole in the air suspension bag and did the old finger in the dyke trick, presto hey up she came. I quickly put a bicycle puncture patch on and drove to a 4x4 specialist who replaced the strut and since then "touch wood" everything is perfect with the EAS. We are now using the car every day and what a joy not to have that mind twisting "Ping" every 5 miles.

Moral of the storey "If it doesn't stay up, there's a leak somewhere". At least that's what I think the wife said...!!

Cheers, Tricky.

What a turn off for her!, a bicycle patch on your old man. Don't, if Brian asks, post photos :D
Cheers, Tricky.
