Sort the modulation by re-timing the FIP and then look at what readings you have. Finally got a nano for it. I'm not sure if I'm reading it right though, but if I am, the fuel value should be 5ish, but is currently 63 (or is it the 23.5)? So running lean.View attachment 336612
And the timing, should be around 50%, so is currently retarded. If I am right, the percentage is set by static timing and the fuel quantity set by giving the top half of the pump a few love taps?

I'ma hold off, been pointed out my fuel temp is way out, so gonna change that before I touch anything else, as the pump thinks the fuel is way colder than it should be.Sort the modulation by re-timing the FIP and then look at what readings you have.
If the bolt won't come out as you expect you mave to..I'm properly stuck now.. the hard to get to bolt that holds the ball joint in place is knackered. I'm at a loss what to do![]()

Can't see how you'd cut it. but then you'd next need to drill and wind an extractor in. But you can't really get to it and it's not square onIf the bolt won't come out as you expect you mave to..
A, drop the fame,
B, cut the bolt after checking it can be put back in from the other side![]()
Sorry I've misunderstood, what is exactly suck that long bolt or the ball joint nut?I'm properly stuck now.. the hard to get to bolt that holds the ball joint in place is knackered. I'm at a loss what to do![]()
One of the bolts that holds the ball joint in placeSorry I've misunderstood, what is exactly suck that long bolt or the ball joint nut?
Is the fuel quantity not low as a 90 year olds ball sack? Or is it likely to balance out a little after a new temp sensor?I'm not sure I'd worry too much about either if those. Fuel temperature seems odd though.
I don't suppose you've got a couple of pictures have you my good man. There may be some sacrifice to be had..One of the bolts that holds the ball joint in place
If you grind the head off then you'll never get the rest of the bolt out.. in my opinion.. but then i don't have the best imagination
There is a fuel heater in the top of the fuel filter, the temperature sensor is, I think, part of the FIPI'ma hold off, been pointed out my fuel temp is way out, so gonna change that before I touch anything else, as the pump thinks the fuel is way colder than it should be.
That is my understanding too, based on looking at RAVE the fuel temp sensor is under the top cover of the FIP and a new one is about £20 and looks an easy replacement.there is a fue

Don't remember having that problem when I did mine. If you raise the suspension does it give you enough clearance? Assuming it's part of the body that's in the way.How long is this frigging bolt!?

ah that one. BuggerIt's underneath, bottom of the hub
Yes that one was easy, it's the other ones on the left of the pic
