Nice, you've done something that 99% of those models and their drivers have never doneView attachment 335058
Over-landed the RRS Auto 5.0… had to do it once to see what she was made of. It was better than advertised. Only complaint, need to be able to lock in extended height mode indefinitely to keep from having to reactivate b/w obstacles.
It'll only choose extanded mode if the vehicle thinks in real difficulty like being high centered. You might want to check the underside plastics if you've experienced extended modeView attachment 335058

Hope it's not cooking the batteryToday's fault on turning the key: ALTERNATOR FAULT!
FFS. Will check battery voltage when I get home. If that is OK, maybe I can get away with just replacing the gubbins in the top of the alternator?
Hope it's not cooking the batterymore likely it's just not charging enough/at all
crikey!!!
Really Appalling Cover. Once this year's cover is up I will never touch them again .Don't forget they won't come out if the suspension ever has a problem again. I'm going back to the AA. Quicker recovery time, better customer service, and will come out no matter how many times the Golden Girl throws fit over the same thing.Joined the M23 from Gatwick heading towards M25 yesterday evening. Suspension fault, down to bump stops, managed to get to one of those emergency lay-byes. then waited for RAC. From 9:00pm until 1;00 am on side of motorway, then until 2;00am until recovery truck arrived, then in truck until 4;30am when they left us at a service station. We got home at 3:00pm today but my L322 is still at the services waiting for onward recovery, which they failed to do today at all.Not feeling good about my car or the RAC at the moment!
Had that on mine a couple of weeks back. Was seeing less than 11v running I believe as well. Took about 30 minutes to swap the alternator out for a recon spare I had on the shelf. Not a massive job but certainly a pain in the ass when it happened!Today's fault on turning the key: ALTERNATOR FAULT!

That can be anything from a bad connection, the D+ goes via the BECM, to worn brushes. Worn brushes being the most likely. A new regulator assembly from Mobiletron is the way to go if it's brushes.Today's fault on turning the key: ALTERNATOR FAULT!
