anyone know know the right way to remove the fuse box from a 2010-12 l322? before i end up taking the body off/engine out etc?
not looked closely so it might be obvious, but the green oval is now a black oval.. welcome to the dark side

Lower glove box out then you can get to it to remove it.

I've got the SDD software, that can fit a new BCM
thats assumung the VIN isnt hard coded

Have been doing some goggling , just for fun:p.

It appears the change may work with SDD programing, but wrong VIN showing.
Some cloning services available for not many "beer tokens"
Or if you are a computer wizz and can download EEPROMs and things then you could do it yourself:vb-poke-with-stick:.

Wrong VIN sounds like a killer then.. ie car won't start
I guess that's why they are cheap on eBay

No it seems they will work (with the wrong VIN) but you will get a tamper light of some sort, and the diagnostics will show a VIN problem, with other modules I guess.

Also mutterings of mileage being stored in it to (similar to the P38 BECM) so becarefull.

I don't know.

But maybe worth talking to 1 of the cloning companies before you have 2 bricks to stop the L322 ornament from rolling ;).
