Our Amazon deliveries usually say "handed to resident", but in reality just left on the doorstep. I often put that in the feedback with a photo, as that's the one thing Amazon actually checks before they allow the comments to be visible !!
I got the bums rush from Amazon France over my undelivered parcel, basically they didn't want to know. Luckily I'm known to all the farms around me so the recipient was able to deliver to me eventually. Amazon is my resource of last resort.

did some more digging into 'smart key not found'.
plugged diag in again and this time it complained about unknown status of KVM keyless entry module which looks like this;

its in the left hand side of the boot, next to the sub woofer

Doesn't sound too smart?

i dont think theres a problem with the kvm because it would start with the key in the emergency location, also the diag was able to remove the keys from the kvm.

maybe its the box in the headlining but i can't remember which that was, but maybe it got damp, related to the recent damp i found on the inside of the sunroof

watched this video

this says the KVM stores the keys in its memory but you can still start the car if the KVM and the small receiver in the headlining are not plugged in
now, are the keys also stored in some other module/BCM etc as well as the KVM? this is the big question!

SDD says all antennas are ok and the KVM passes checks.. i'm stuck now
the only other thing is the medium can bus, which i dont know how to test. theres a function in SDD but that doesnt work, presumably because i dont have a topix subscription
as far as checking a can bus.. its more like a can't bus! i'll have more luck learning russian from a chinese french teacher who can't speak russian or english

done some more digging. it seems the key fob in the emergency location under the dash should still let me turn the ignition on, even if they key fobs have been erased from the KVM, proven by powerfuluk who turned the ignition on with the KVM unplugged.

I can't turn mine on, so something must have lost sync somewhere.. immobiliser/BCM etc

From what @Saint.V8 described, it is a daisy chain. So if a module fails, everything downstream of it will be unavailable. So you need to know the order the modules are ordered and then look for anomolies upstream of that. Presumably the order is on Topix or possibly FFRR?
