Is it really safe to do so or should you go for new or proper welding
Because of where it is, i don't think welding world work to if i could find someone willing to try.
It holds the dash and lights from wiggling around, if it glues that i can hang off it then will be fine it's not structural to the integrity of the main frame or engine etc.
It's done now!! Though the 2 part epoxy was hard to mix!! Both different consistencies

We shall see this time tomorrow!! Or i might give it to the weekend before i heave on it

Don't take any chances pal. Your too precious to leave us

Looking at the rear facing pic has your side step started to stop from the B pillar and back? Mine have on both sides, box frame underneath has corroded leaving hardly no strength from B pillar and back, going to remove mine and replace the front mud flaps to ones without a step receiver in them.
Yeah drivers side has passanger side hasn't, if i didn't have the mudflaps with the shape of the step on they'd have been removed by now, i think the side steps aren't the prettiest of things, my old one survived 3 days with chrome bars and they got chopped off

That’s why iv still got mine on, waiting till free day and decent weather then fit new front mudflats. Managed to find a old new stock of genuine LR ones poor design on them really, no support after B pillar yet that’s where all the weight and leverage is after there.

Had to convert my P38 to RWD, UJ failed on me, luckily caught it before it has done any damage to the prop. Looks like the grease has been washed out. Which is weird because it is the tbox front output UJ. New UJ and fresh grease should arrive later this week. I am guessing my open for 10+ years tub could be dead, so going to regrease all the UJs with fresh. Hopefully it doesn't snow between now and then.

Are you all fixed up now?
