+1 I posted the eBay number a while ago,try a search but I'll check my purchase history in the mean time.
If it's number one injector then I would say remove the injector and anneal the copper washer,heat to cherry red and plunge into cold water.Copperslip the injector threads when refitting.Only number 1 has a well around it where the diesel pools and shows up bubbles from the injector washer.

I presume RH rear is as you are facing the tailgate?
Try unplugging it ,if two disappear on nanometer then its the wrong one :eek:,i find nine times out o 10 its a broken wire on the sensor or it worn through outer casing ,worth a look be four u try to strip it out ;)..

Too late:p, already got it out, come out nice and easy as I cleaned everything up and greased the sensor when I recommissioned her 6 months or so ago. Sensor is open circuit so duff, fronts were both renewed with cheapyish ones from island 4x4 , the rears are both original wabco so possibly 21 yrs old.
 
I've got issues:rolleyes:.
Abs and tc lights came on last week, switched off the engine and restarted, all good again.
Yesterday they have come on permently :eek:.
Got the nano out (I'm very green with it:oops:) and its showing no voltage RH rear sensor so a quick cuppa and I'll check that out.
I presume RH rear is as you are facing the tailgate? I've read somewhere that nano info is wrong side for something, blend motors is it?
Not sure if this is any use to you, but I was planning on trying it when I get onto fault finding my ABS.

Might be worth looking at the tech archive, someone has done a fix cheaply. Or any decent hydraulic hose place will do the job reusing the connectors, more cost though.

I went down the local hydraulic hose place. The bloke there didn't know if it could be done but the customer behind me said it couldn't with Land Rover. He said he cut the end of the pipe off and then braised a standard fitting on and made a hydraulic hose that then ftted to the cooler.

Anyone know the part numbers for the engine oil cooler pipes on the manual p38 (oil burner)?
I'd bet you will need the oil cooler as well, the pipes are impossible to undo. You could just replace the rubber hoses which can be secured with Jubilee clips, 2 at each end.

It does depend on the fittings yes.
I had my 200tdi tratter oil cooler hoses extended using the original fittings at pirtek. There has to be a lip of sorts for the new ferrule to swage on to. Pirtek didn't know if they were suitable until he cut the old ferrules off. No idea what the p38 fittings are like but reading the sticky in the tech archive you can do it in situ which means you'll save the cooler too.
 
This is checking wiring, but can do it all from the comfort of the passenger seat. Can check all 4 sensors from one plug. Perfection.

Totally understand. But “he” said replace sensor, if still bad then it’s the wiring;).

Shirley you would check the wiring to the “bad” sensor first before spending money:D.

On to the next problem. #1 Seems to be sitting in fuel. Replaced the spill off pipe as that seems to be a reoccurring problem (hard to start after sitting overnight) since spill off seems to be absolutely dog ****e these days. But I am starting to wonder if there is an issue with #1. It only ever seems to be that injector that gets wet, all of the others are always bone dry. I get there is a recess so it can hold fuel, but it seems excessive.

[Edit: For reference, I could hear air being sucked into the system after I shutdown.]

Pull the injector out and take a look. Does look excessive as you say.
I'll take that off your hands. No idea what it is worth though.

Few quid they not cheap even ragged, like dog or light guards. Very handy but if you put the rear seats down you have to open the boot and slide it out slightly to put them back up. Wouldn’t be without mine

Sunday I found my lower cooler hose leaking around the joint. I’ve tried sealing it with rtv around the joins not reinspected yet. There is a diy method in tech archive it’s old so pretty far down the list.
