I have a very nice Land Rover series 2 safari roof waiting for me in Scotland (North) for free as well, but how will I get that back here :(:(

Congrats'... But.. have you sorted the original problem..??
Fingers crossed
So I can only assume sometime in the past when this ol bus was a farm wagon the loom got damaged. Looks like there was damp underthere are one point because rust, which is probably what fried the repair. I think I know what the source of liquid is (drivers door is bent) so I got some thicc door seal to glue in place. Hopefully that'll button it up.

Dam, I just wasn't thinking right was I.... my sincere apologies
It is OK, I'll forgive you this once. But don't let it happen again. Or I'll set The Moo onto you. And she is a ferocious killer.

What have I done, second hand 16' disco 2 wheels fitted to Sophie 246, while I was doing that job, gave the N/S front hub, caliper and disc a good clean and I think all is salvageable.
Also had a rotary wire wheel attack on the N/S front chassis, found some black gloss paint, think Sophie has had an easy life.
Bought lots of new spares for 246, safe to say I am going to be busy wire wheeling, rust treating, painting and parts fitting in next 2 weeks.

What a plonker I am. Sent all my documents and stuff of to DVLA at beginning of month to claim my 50% road tax because of PIP. All documents returned yesterday with a nice little letter enclosed. I had forgotten to sign the fecking cheque :eek::eek::eek::(:(. Had to run down main post office and send everything back with cheque signed and hope it gets done by end off month when my tax expires.;);)

PIP?

Ah! Could it not be done online, sending stuff off is a pain sometimes, My recent experience of DVLA was flawless, thought I was I was on different plain!!
The 100% rebate can be done online or at post office but the 50% has to be done at DVLA. Talking to post office staff they can't see a problem from their end as they are allowed to check passports, driving licences, all other road taxes so why they aren't allowed to check the 50% rebate baffles them.
Hence I have to send all my documents off

On to the next problem. #1 Seems to be sitting in fuel. Replaced the spill off pipe as that seems to be a reoccurring problem (hard to start after sitting overnight) since spill off seems to be absolutely dog ****e these days. But I am starting to wonder if there is an issue with #1. It only ever seems to be that injector that gets wet, all of the others are always bone dry. I get there is a recess so it can hold fuel, but it seems excessive.

[Edit: For reference, I could hear air being sucked into the system after I shutdown.]
