Spoiled my night that has, and I'm not the envious type.

Even if it goes bang your quids in.

Well done, get rid of the doozle.:D

To be honest other than the judder when you pull away sometimes it drives much nicer than my td6
It’s strange, under normal driving it fine but if you sit on tick over for a short time, in traffic or earlier when I was testing the suspension in my drive, go to pull away an it gives the odd little judder

I do tend to agree that’s it a tc issue, just hoping that I can catch it early enough with a flush, it only does it once in a while and only if you try to accelerate gently

Sounds like the lock up clutch is on its way out, change the TC before the gearbox digests the crap. Saw a Sport with the same problem and the seller said its been like that for years. He wasn't impressed when I told him he should have sorted it then, it would have been a cheaper job

Gotta be worth a flush first though???
The cars had been stood for a fair bit of this years which can’t have helped

No but I have heard of failures and at this mileage it could have been in there a long while, having said that most of the mileage was motorway between London and Yorkshire which must be better for the drivetrain

Struggling to find a filter without the sump which sounds odd, and found about 5 different grades of suggested oil, more homework needed me thinks

My friend supplied me with the oil to do his sump dump, I could tell you what it is tomorrow.

Bemble recommends the real MaCoy ZF stuff, but like almost anything you can purchase the same spec for a considerable saving.

I can’t remember what I used in the td6 but I remember it was £100 for 20litres as opposed to £16 per litre for the stuff LR used
