Is the antenna going on a bracket or mag mount? (Magnetic mounts don't work on aluminium roofs for instance but Disco steel roofs are fine).
Don't press the transmit button without having the antenna connected to the CB - they don't like it. Once it's all connected up you will need to get it SWR'd (standing wave ratio checked) to ensure that the setup is as good as it's going to get.

Yep. Been down some of them, done some of that on my first ever laning day out as an infiltrator from Lancashire and what a rush!! Recommended.
Nice vids mate. Looking forward to a trip up there next year.
