I was out yesterday n the lanes that come over from near buckden over the top Dow to semerwater through the river but a friend had just bought a std discovery 2 and ended up doing a tyre sidewall on stones so called it an early day. There was a few others out but spoke to a man from Texas in a red 90 seemed a decent fella on his own.
 
Does anyone still partake in these? I've just rejoined the "working Land Rover" club and would like to get back out again. I used to do the Holmfirth lanes, but haven't been on them for quite some time.

I still lane and run trips but usually from our Facebook page as it’s been dead on here for the last few years

That lane is called Stake It’s usually an easy one. The only optional harder bit is at the Stalling Busk end where you can turn left and do a short harder rocky bit
