The mrs (altho she dont know yet) has bought me a cb kit for xmas. I have read all sorts about set up....can anyone with expirence assist me with what to do or will the destructions have it all?

The destructions should have it all.
Is the antenna going on a bracket or mag mount? (Magnetic mounts don't work on aluminium roofs for instance but Disco steel roofs are fine).
Don't press the transmit button without having the antenna connected to the CB - they don't like it. Once it's all connected up you will need to get it SWR'd (standing wave ratio checked) to ensure that the setup is as good as it's going to get.

turned round and went up scar house ....deadmans hill is bit of a sore point will local farmer council resurfing of lane they have moved it over and now it washing away his walls.mick was having a nice chat with him wos ok about us he blames council so im not going to drive it be a good idea if no one do's
