I dont mind Phil, it was you and John that arranged the Junction.

Anyone got any ideas, in that area, which is good as we have people coming from different directions

And it needs to works for Neil & Zip as they are probably leading on the trip

I have no idea:p:D but parking is a must as I wont be drinking :( . (To far to get a taxi!)
Will be good to catch up too....feels like weeks since wales!
Has a time been mentioned:confused:

Ok two good pubs we've been to recently:
1. The Hermit on the cow and calf road - the landlord's a top bloke and great atmosphere
2. The Acorn in Eldwick - the biggest advantage here is heaps of parking space.

The Hermit would be my pick - Mrs E and I are keen to head back there

Isn't The Hermit one of the smallest pubs in England. We wont fit in with the regulars as well :D:D

Oh dear, going to be in trouble with Neil

Forgot my phone today and got home to a message on the phone and here.

WHERE IS THE LOCKING WHEEL NUT KEY FOR THE FOCUS

Well I didn't know it had one, and it is in my handbag, I found it in the glove compartment when I cleared it out for the MOT :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Never thought it was useful :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

No way - You should have seen this one on Fleet Street in London-town that we went to!! :D

In all seriousness, I would have said it's small but not tiny - haven't been on a Friday so don't know how crowded it is. The Acorn is about the same, and the Junction doesn't look any bigger either (haven't been in though). I'll leave it over to you locals with more knowledge to decide ;)

ok, my plans for Friday night.
bear in mind it could all go skyward bound depending on what shifts the missus is working and whether she's on call or not, but-

i'll be at the workshop swapping some bushes in difflock's watts linkage.
(just need to tell him that)

I believe sue and zip are coming down to sort a route out somewhere.

phil, do you want to do your dodgy uj's? if so, you'll be in the doorway using the drive up ramps and laying on the floor. there'll be assistance if/when yer need it.
i'm having the 4 poster :p

if anyone on the laning do wants to come and heckle/chat/drink coffee/drink beer (not recommending if driving) or generally be there, then pm me and i'll send you the address.

i'll probably call in at the junction on the way home for a swifty.
if anyone wants to drink beer in a pub, see above. or use another alternative.

if anyone's doing the workshop thing, bring a coat-
the heater aint that big.
if any wants to lig in comfort, bring a chair.

the shop's about a 4 minute drive from the juncy, 15 mins if you walk, assuming you don't get lost.
the juncy has parking, but its someone else's parking area.

if it all goes pear shaped and I end up housebound, i'll post it here as soon as I know.

I await the epic......

edit-
the shop is not a public place, nor is it a place of employment.
I will be smoking.
non smokers may stand outside while I do this, if they wish.

Slight change of plans due to essential work on some Landys :D:D

As above but Zip has suggested a social pub meet on Saturday as well if anyone is interested.

Neil has cleared a desk for Zips computers so we can do some routes on Friday which will leave Saturday free for beer (or Vodka) :D:D

And Phil, John has offered to invite some people you wanted to meet, cant remember who, to the pub on Saturday. But we will have to let John know if its happening.

This sounds like a fantastic idea!! ...I know where I am going too:eek:
And I can bring that Guinness I owe you:D:D:D (and pick your brains re the rear prop shaft if you have time ).

See you all Friday evening...I shall get my thermals ready:p

Oh and Phil if you need a little person to help out I can fit quite nicely under a land rover:lol::lol::lol:

(and pick your brains re the rear prop shaft if you have time ).
you need a 200tdi disco propshaft and a 4 bolt flange from a diff.
or any 4 bolt propshaft, as it'll be getting cut up and rewelded to fit your application. pretty sure a 90/110/disco front or rear would be long enough to butcher for yours.
oh, and 4 nuts and bolts!

recommend jonny disco on Stanley road, Bradford. 07510955455
